From being an obscure model that no-one had heard of, there seem to be more Corsairs than anything else. This one is a bit special - VGC and it looks as though it's equipped like a Deore 18ax - with Deore ax chainset and pedals and Showa racks fore and aft. www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/201552073731 |

Nice looking bike! That is the same location where I picked up the 600ax. Obviously a hot spot for rare Viscount?

With the 2x Showa racks, Deore chain set & identical frame to the Deore 18ax tourer bike - I can't really see any difference between those 2 models.

Went for £132 in the end. Snipe bid pushed it from £86 to £132. Big jump I can't work out how that happens.

If the buyer had seen this advertised on Shpock (as it was), they could have made an offer and got it for less than they paid on eBay.
It is a really nice example though and would be a great addition to anyones stable.
I hope the buyer stops in here on the forum and joins us for the DFR4.
