Cycle Jumble.

Thanks for asking - I went to the Erdington one. Almost as soon as I got there, I saw the 2 guys who were at last years Viscount Rally (who were in the vintage Cycling Club, I forget their names) and they told me that the Long Eaton bike jumble (which was nearer for me) would have been a better one to go to. Ah well...

I didn't have much cash , so I was looking for bargains. First purchase was a nice broad gel saddle for my wife, which she tested out on her Sebring on Saturday afternoon and liked very much. Then I bought a few wheel mounted reflectors.
Then I haggle a bit to get a 'vintage' Pletscher alloy rear rack with spring loaded top. I am thinking of putting that on my 'Sport. I love the convenience of the spring arm rack.

I then got a bit carried away. I saw this jersey below and loved the look of it and sort of held it up to my chest and guessed it would fit me. I got home and found it to be too small. Even after a couple months of riding every day , I doubt I'd be slim enough to fit in this. Disappointed to say the least. Expect to see it on eBay soon. I sold one the other day that was too small for me and it went for much more than I expected ( I think my listing with Eroica/ vintage/classic in the title helped?)
