There's a decent looking Lambert oop north Unfortunately it's been re-painted, but mainly original bits. Looks to be about 22" (56cm).

Nice, repainted but (?) the decal head badge still showing through? Interesting. That head badge decal in fact, looks like it is coming undone on the sides, does it not? Some day, someone will retro-make these bikes I'd think. Maybe 15, 20 years from now if not sooner. . So, Lamberts had an arrow as a head badge? Or is that a rocket taking off which is kind of nice, that is my vote, it is a rocket. Have people seen that before? Certainly, not myself. This confuses me some. The pealing paint at the bottom of the head tube is a bit puzzling as well though the bike does look good. It makes one wonder, what happened? Repainted most likely, paint peeling where the down tube meets the head tube as well. Nothing serious but one would probably want to deal with the situation.

I know that's what they say in Sunderland, the Mackems, "Ha'Way The Lads", sounds good, didn't quite understand it but get it and yes, Tyne is up in the North, I know where, near Newcastle.

This is what the front of the Lambert would have looked like originally. Also the whole bike and the seat cluster. Sorry about the droopy angle of the bars and the messy bar tape - these photos were taken when I had just got the bike. It's better now. That is what makes that "sticker" on this ebay Lambert head tube fascinating , it says "Lambert", I think one can make that out. I think I can but perhaps I am wrong, it looks like vertically, those letters say L A M B E R T. It just does not seem to add up. Also, if one can not see that faded sticker, perhaps use the zoom feature at the website. That is a nice bicycle you have, I have vaguely seen the Lambert head tube, on that Trophy from last week as well. Maybe this is all of no consequence, I could not help but mention it.

One might contact the seller, in a way, it looks like all of the design has worn or rubbed off. I almost could visualize that happening per my red and white one. This is when it was new; I've tried to keep it in good shape, I'm still appreciating riding lighter bikes though my daily commuter is hi-ten.
