It might be a hit at a Death Fork ride. I suppose it is a bit clever; someone needs to buy the thing as a novelty. Jim

Some time ago someone advertised a table lamp on eBay, made from a Death Fork. This one is at least practical and a bicycle tool.

ResampleImg.ashx by RMT@261, on Flickr I have a spare saddle and some bent drop bars. If Raymondo still has the short steerer-tubed Death Forks he had at DFR3, and could donate them as antlers, maybe I could create a 'stag' figurehead for our DFR4 camp?

I like it. I'm still toying with the idea of part of a broken Death Fork (if anyone has some to donate) melted down for my wedding ring! Cath is less happy with the idea.

Yeah, Lewis, that's a fun idea, but I don't think your beloved will appreciate the constant gray ring on her finger as the aluminum oxidizes. But you wouldn't have to melt it - just cut out a slice and turn it on a lathe, I think. Maybe size it for you?

I'm having visions of a saggy Lycra-clad guard of honour holding an arch of forks over your heads as you come out of the ceremony! I'm sure it's just what Cath would wish for.
