Looks like it's time to regrettably replace my old Suntour Pro-compe 14-28 5 speed freewheel on my Aerospace Pro. I was hoping once the shifting deteriorated to just get away with a new chain but now I've got an annoying skip under hard pedaling. What are you guys doing for replacement? I'm sure the Sunrace and Sunlite brands don't compare but the price is right compared to finding a NOS Shimano or Suntour. Can I switch to a 6 speed without fooling with the axle or dish? I'm more of a designer than a tech wiz so all helpful thoughts are appreciated. I've got the Crane RD and want to stay 14-28. Thoughts?

Hello Michael,
I have just removed an old Shimano 14-28 from an aerospace rear wheel. It needs a cleaning, but seems to work just fine. I'm willing to bet it doesn't have 1,000 miles. Remind me of your address and I'll get it off to you.
If you can find an Ultra 6 freewheel, that should not require dishing. You might want to ask your LBS, but I believe that most SRAM freewheels are spaced that way, stock.
