I ordered Aerospace Pro Decal set from VeloCals.... very nice quality. However, because of the covering mask, I didn't notice that the down tube decal was not correct.... it had a white panel, rather than the clear background I expected. I contacted VeloCals and after checking my invoice, they promised to send the correct replacement decal. In the meantime I began to wonder what models had the white panel decal.... or maybe it was a design error. Here's a photo... I'm be removing it as soon as I get the replacement. Does it look like the correct decal for another model? Decal

bicycledecals.net/viscountdecals.htmI got these decals and they look good, just right for my 1978 Aerospace Sport. Although you really need an extra shield for the seat-tube as well as the headtube, and of course the sticker with all the aerospace stuff on it. H Lloyd used to have Viscount decals, but none showing at present: hlloydcycles.com/

Apologies for thread hi-jack.
I have bought a set of Decals from VeloCals complete with some application instructions.
For the wetting agent they say that only "Dawn liquid dish-washing soap" will work! As this is not readily available in the UK, has anyone found a suitable alternative?
Also any issues with using commonly available acrylic lacquers?
Thanks

Also any issues with using commonly available acrylic lacquers? Thanks Dawn is a formulation with grease and oil solvents. Wildlife rescuers use it to clean up birds caught in an oil spill. You might try emailing the folks at VeloCal. They were very prompt in responding when I contacted them. The mix is only a drop or two of Dawn in a quart of water.... maybe just go with plain water? Seems to me that VeloCal has decals that can be top-coated and some that already have a protective layer. Again, I think its worth contacting them. Edit: Wikipedia says "Fairy" brand, also made by Proctor & Gamble is the UK equivalent of Dawn.
