Can anyone show me what shape/size/type of hanger I would need to fit a Titlist RD onto my Sport please?!? Original RD is a Huret.
Thanks in anticipation!

That should do the trick. You might try asking in your local bike shop as lots of Shimano rear mechs come with these and are not always required. ie,if the bike has a built in hanger. They usually get chucked in the spares box,so may be very cheap! In a former life,I gave away a fair few. Cheers, Pete.

Cheers Pete. I may well do that - thinking I'm going to chicken out of attempting to replace the BB so will be in there anyway - then again shortly afterwards for them to put the rest of the stuff I cock up right!!

I also had one that I used on a 'Sport project that didn't come to fruition. I am sure I have it in my bits box , you can have it if I can find it, and Pete doesn't find his first

Me too, someone reckons it reduces the crap in the garage. Doesn't know yet about the furtive activities involving a 1980 Raleigh Royal Tourer. Purely to fix up and sell on,obviously!!! Cheers, Pete.

Haha. Pete you've been a constant source of 'oh, I think I've got something in my spares box'. Guess that's what 20 years of being a mechanic and cycling enthusiast will bring with it. One day, I hope I can pay all that kindness forward.

If I'll be as fit as you are when I'm your age, then I'll be a happy bunny. :-) By the way: sorry to read about your current problems. Hope it's going better now?

Ooh...I used to have one of those, until it got nicked from inside my house when I was burgled back in 1985. Nice bike.
I recently found one on Gumtree and I'm refurbishinbg it for Mrs. Dracco. It has many of its original parts still in place, and is just in need of some TLC. (...and the same's true of the bike).

Cheers, Pete. That's progress, nonetheless. Hope you and Steve will be fighting fit for the rally. Nothing worse than being kept off your bike, eh?
