It is with much relief that I am finally able to participate in this superb forum.
I am the Viscount/Lambert fan who started that CTC thread which turned out better than I could have possibly hoped (and too big for me to cope with). Thanks to the miracle of the internet, I found out that it wasn't just me after all. It turned out that the world is full (okay, a slight exaggeration...) of Viscount/Lambert/Trusty fans. And, they are all lovely, friendly, helpful people to boot. What more could anyone want (actually, NOS Aerospace Pro for sale in the UK would be nice)?
I've been riding/researching/recording/crashing/rebuilding/restoring/writing about Viscounts for 38 years so hopefully I can help out on this Forum.
Next year I hope to be able to finish off my Viscount book and see our oversees Viscount/Lambert fans at DFR 3.
Cheers
Steve

Steve, it's great to see you and the wealth of info you have back in gear. By credentials alone, they've got to move you up in the star category to High Priest! That CTC forum that I fell into in its infancy back in 2009 is for sure a big reason for me going from one rusting Gran Touring to a stable of 5 more riders and 2 project bikes along with a nice collection of Viscount jerseys and shirts, and most important, a great collection of comrades in arms!
Cheers, Michael

Hi Steve.Glad you're firing on all cylinders and back to what we think of as normality! Put me down for a copy of your book when it's finished. See you at DFR3, if the grim reaper doesn't get me first! Cheers, Pete.

Welcome Bustaste!
Really great to have you aboard.
There have been 1 or 2 puzzles on here that you might have 'solved' , where we were all scratching our heads.

Cheers, Michael Thanks Michael. 5 riders is sooooooooooooooo good. And, who can forget the incredible NOS 'Mohave' (I think it was from there) GP?! What projects have you got on? I'm working on a 1975 Viscount Sebring which came all the way from a good friend in Minnesota (hats off to our USA 'cousins'!!). Here it is in all its 'before' glory: Cheers Steve

It's great to see you back in the Viscount fold Steve.
I'm sure there will be loads of questions that only you can answer!

I've got an original red/white GP, also from Minnesota by the way that I'm still waiting for inspiration on what to do. Maybe just a good cleanup project. Also in the shed is a small Pro frame that will need lots of parts and paint. Good ton have things in the pipeline.

I have agonised over this one!! The forks are clearly Viscount ones but the frame is NOT a Viscount. It's the flattened seat stays which sealed it for me. I have no record of any Viscount frames with this feature. Hope this helps. Cheers Steve

Steve! What a wonderful sight! Not only your name, but also your avatar and the new project. Glad you're with us now. Re the CTC thread: if it hadn't been for your starting it, and your (and other participants') support and guidance, I'd never have managed to fix Shawn, and for that I'll be forever grateful. Now I can at least look after my fleet of currently four working Viscounts, and three more projects. :-)
