On the Monsal trail 8.00am Sunday 18th May 2014, wife's Cyrille Guimard & the Sport. Also completed my first sportive on the Sport, Thorseby CiCLE, 34 miles, 2:47, 14th out of 35, plus i did at least an extra couple of miles when i missed a right turn. Attachments:

Its the one of the Reg Harris Lambert I picket up a couple of months ago off of ebay. I am looking for a couple of bottles to finish the retro look for l'eroica. The chrome has worn off/rust busted through in places but I call it patina.

Scottw,there's a French seller on ebay that sells period alloy bottles with cork stoppers. He seems to charge £17 plus postage.I know that seems quite a lot,but they're the cheapest I've seen to date. Cheers, Pete.

I think I mentioned in another thread that those vintage double alloy bottle cages go for very high prices if they come up at all. Are those in France reproductions Pete?
I'm sure i could make a business proposition out of just making saddle bag uplift frames (like the Carradice BagMan) and double bottle holders.

The bottles are repros,they come in plain or adorned with period graphics.I'll have another delve and provide an item number.Incompetent,still can't get my head around these newfangled "Babage" machines Cheers, Pete.
