Today's ride on the Upper Charles Rail Trail (Massachusetts, USA) involved sharing the trail with two deer, a large water snake, and a flock of handsome Canada geese.

That looks to be an excellent bike trail! It is wonderful how we often see wildlife on our rides.

Do the geese honk with an American accent? They are very widespread, being very common where I live in London, on the river and around ponds and lakes in all the parks. I feel sure they keep a stiff upper beak and speak English with a Cockney accent.

Nevertheless, a goose from the UK might indeed have a Cockney accent. Of course the Canadian geese in our area sound like politicians or media personalities. Listen for yourself here; am I right?
