I know there are some fans of the Fuji framed bikes here , so I thought I would post this link, as they dont appear very often Is that a reasonable price? Seems on the high side to me (edit - although it does say 'or best offer') www.ebay.co.uk/itm/266417192050

It would be high for this area. I have '83, '84, and '85 Fuji del Reys, which look to be comparable to the Grand Tourer. In fact they are probably a bit better because of the Fuji Valite quad-butted tubing and the general improvement in bike components during the early and mid 1980's. I paid $50, $149, and $30, respectively. The $149 was one of the first used vintage road bikes I purchased and I was not careful about pricing. I would not pay that much today. I don't need any more bikes, so my ceiling would be $50.

The UK ad is also posted in the USA. I remember when the English Pound was worth about 5 bucks; what happened over there?

I keep track of bare frame and fork weights of bikes that pass through my "lab." A Viscount Aerospace GP 56cm weighs 2754g with a type 3 death fork and 2736g with the Yamaha replacement fork. A 1983 Fuji del Rey 57cm weighs 3162g.
