Are any of these of interest to anyone? I have no idea of price...maybe think of average ebay price and discount 25-30% plus postage? I think the spring might have gone on the Deore Deer's head , but honestly can't remember. The Brooks competition saddle is cosmetically ok, but the leather has 'firmed up' and would require breaking in again (if that is possible?). Sorry for awful pics, I wasn't planning on taking photos for selling , just a couple of quick shots to remind myself of what is in there If you want close-up's of individual pics , let me know IMG_4259 by

Hey Jem, I would be interested in the Lambert brake calipers. Do you still have them? I damaged the front brake caliper of my 76 Viscount Aerospace in a fall and need a replacement. The one in the photo looks exactly like mine except the badges are different. Please reply here? or e-mail me. Ill check back either way.

Emeric Rochford Hi - yes, pretty sure I still have them , and they are yours....if i can put my hand on them. They are buried deep in the full shed of bits and pieces and assorted junk. So, it might be a few days before I can locate and let you know for sure. I'll drop you a PM asap

Hey Jem, That's awesome that you still have them! Let me know what you want for them plus what shipping would be. I live in the USA. Fresno, California to be exact. Not sure on the particulars like shipping and currency exchange but I'm sure we can work it out. I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards, Emeric

I mailed you Emeric - no charge for them, but as I say in the mail, the shipping is really going to be eye watering. If you think you could find them locally, then financially it would work out better. And as I also say in the email, although they are unused NOS they are not the best quality pieces of that era in my opinion, and the red/white Lambert logo is just a sticker that wouldn't last long before dropping off in everyday use, I'd guess. They do look the part though and are very clean and tidy.
All that said, I will dig them out and you can let me know what you think.

Those brake calipers are different than the ones on the 5 or 6 Viscount/Lambert Aerospace bikes I have. Mine are the [possibly older] crudely forged calipers without a badge indentation. They have blue L or red V pivot bolts to denote the brand. Jem, the ones in your photo look to be of better quality.

Cheers Brian - my 'quality assessment' is based on the moulding of these. To my eye(and hand) they feel like they are second generation from a mould , not as 'crisp' as others. The red lambert stickers don't help the overall feel, but they look great and no doubt will finish off a Viscount of that era very nicely.
I've been in contact with Emeric and he took a tumble when the front wheel slipped from under him on a wet turn , and has damaged his. He's riding a dark blue Aerospace with a full chrome fork , so they are going to look superb as they are so pristine and bright.
My only issue is that it's going to take me many decades to clear my shed at this rate.
EDIT - on that note, I'd love someone (in the uk ) to make an offer all these parts (minus those lambert callipers, and red dot Weinmann levers) Nothing against shipping overseas , but based on these parts going to Emeric in California , the whole lot shipped to US would be in the many $100's!

Just an observation on the Lambert and Viscount brake calipers: I have some with Lambert calipers that seem more blocky and rough while some Viscounts seem much more refined. For some reason I thought that the parts would not interchange, but that goes back some years to the time I was building my first Viscount frame up and was scrounging for parts. I’ll have to dig through my parts drawers for clarification. Best, John “wheelson”

UPDATE - this parcel for Emeric was collected from me on Tuesday by ParcelForce, and was in California and safely delivered by the Saturday of the same week. That is pretty good in my experience. I didnt even buy the 'top' tier service.
