Just finished reconditioning this one for the second time and I did some upgrades - swapped out the cottered crankset for this Sugino one on a Shimano sealed BB, installed my last Shimano skiptooth (34T) freewheel, Raleigh branded Suntour V-GT Luxe RD, Raleigh branded Suntour Comp V FD, and Suntour Power ratchet shifters. I already had quite a few miles on this bike and hope to rack up many more this year.

Once again, nice work Brian! Looks classy, really like the chromed fork and tails.

Beautiful bike and great parts. Suntour of that era is unmatched. 700c or 27"? b Thanks, Bendo. They are 27" wheels with Araya rims from a Nishiki parts bike. Since taking these photos, I have changed the crankset to a Raleigh branded SR and put the drilled Sugino set on my Viscount Gran Sports, replacing a Shimano Tourney that was warped.

I always did like the green Super Course, and yours looks just great. The improvements go well on that bike, the ride must be smooth and sweet. Enjoy
