Nice! It checks all the boxes. The Stronglight 107 is one of the best looking cranks ever built.
Cheers Jim

Great to hear from you again Jim; always positive and cheary comments. Hope you are well and still building / riding. I do too much of the latter. Building a "gas pipe" 1979 Grey British Eagle (Falcon) Merckx for my sins. Steel must be 3mm thick; Dont ask I just thought, thats an old bike I can breathe life back into, so I am Best Regards Richard

Richard - absolutely beautiful looking bike. I love the detailing on the lugs. I have never seen those gear levers before , what are they?
No one owned up to buying the Stamford Pro from eBay? But occasionally people turn up here having just bought a Viscount and start to research them and then find us. So, still possible we find out
Regards Jem

Hi Jem They are Retro Friction shifters (Spidel / Simplex); they adjust when putting pressure on the crank to stop it jumping down the cogs Sold both of my Gran Prix viscounts (to make a bit of space) and sorted the BB issue with the Pro I built; Kept my old Tulsa (the black one) but wow its heavy! Still enjoying building all sorts of bikes; Built a couple vintage Raleigh 531 bikes as single speeds with new parts, really lively and still with a vintage look (one for my partners lad and the other for his mate, both very happy with them. Thinking of doing a Raleigh Record 79 in the same manner) Keep well and ride safe Richard
