An up-date on this project. Now got Cinelli 1R stem & Campione del Mundo bars, DA brake levers, black Crane RD, black 1st Gen FD, black 1st Gen chain wheels and RH crank. And now a DA 6-speed freewheel. Lacks LH crank (currently has a Dawes/SR one, courtesy of Busaste) and seat post. And I'm keeping the Viscount wheels. Trouble now is of course that the frame is 1981/2 but all the components are early/mid 1970s. Only 3 attachments allowed. More in the next post. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I must admit the black Durace look really, really good. Is that a half-painted death fork, I'm spotting there?

The forks come from my first Viscount, bought new, also an Aerospace 400. Unfortunately it's bottom bracket shell cracked. I have the forks for the silver bike but prefer these - they are lighter and slimmer.

The pedals are not DA either. I don't think there was a pedal in the DA group set until the ax came out. The ones I am using are A550s. Strangely they are lighter than 600ax or DA ax pedals.

Looks like a painted Lambert with those sloping shoulders. Really nice. I'm not too familiar with all the pedals to be honest, but if you're happy with yours why change it. The rally bike won't have Viscount pedals, or pedals that Viscount used, but they're a great fit.

The fork looks like a good color match with my blue GT. Maybe that color match would work with your yellow project that gets repainted.
