The European Commission has launched an online summer photo contest to celebrate the end of roaming charges in the EU. ec.europa.eu/digital-single-market/en/news/roaming-eu-photo-contestI take some small pride in this as I had a hand in negotiating the abolition of roaming surcharges from the UK side. And it applies to all EEA countries - so Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein as well as the EU Member States. But not to the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, Switzerland, Monaco or Andorra and some other small states I've forgotten. But your mobile provider may include some of these anyway - check before you go.

Congratulations for your part in that! I heard it on the news the other day and was very pleased to hear it
I'll have a go in that competition! I'd love a couple of Inte-Rail tickets. I went in 1984. Loved it then but think I'd really appreciate it now. Train is the best way to travel around Europe in my opinion.
