Inspiring indeed! This old geezer can feel pretty racy, until the first hill; then the field fades into the distance. Maybe I need one of those mechanical doping electric motors?
Cheers Jim

I don't know if size determines things; Marchand is pretty small; I know a Marathoner who placed high in a marathon for his age class of over 70 years old and he's rather small (started running late in life too). I carry some bulk (not much is the "spare tyre" variety) and almost hate to run.

What an awesome achievement. His coach thinks the vegetarian diet he took up recently hurt his performance significantly. I pretty much agree with that position, but still. That he does it at all...
I am already planning on resetting both his 100 y/o and 105 records, when the time comes. His 110 as well, if he makes it that long. Gotta have goals...
