For those who remember the fun we had with Ireland's favourite biscuit poll last year, it looks like some other Irish popular culture pollsters ran an in-house vote amongst themselves:

The Viscount made it to number two in this poll, apparently after some wrangling for the top spot! If you recall last year, Viscounts' ranking rose from 23rd to 9th after this forum's members submitted their votes.

~~Donald Trump and Boris Johnson should be coming to us for their election strategy, though I guess that second wouldn't be good enough for either of them.~~ (Edit: Sorry, I've just seen the 'no politics' advice for this board.)

Talking about biscuits, we haven't heard from Foss - or for that matter Stoatie - since Eroica/DFR or about that time last year.

Perhaps his brief encounter with me (and Sooper8) at Eroica has put him off!

Incidentally, Viscount bikes and biscuits came up on the Singletrack forum a few years ago. The discussion started about bikes, was hijacked by biscuiteers and became very silly, so was closed. Singletrack's office is about 150 yards down the street from me in a building in which I worked for nearly 20 years, and I did think of seeing if they were interested in Viscount bikes, but they're a mountain bike outfit so I thought better of it.
