Nice work Scott. Are you looking for some perfect pedals and caps? In my experience, the Lambert/Viscount pedals are quite durable but once the ends get bent there's no bending them back and bits break off. But they still function as well as ever they did; and the caps only seem to serve an ornamental function (and to infuriate us when they disappear).

I did treat myself at Easter with a set of Viscount pedals off ebay, you may have seen them. They are in pristine condition complete with V end caps. Following the idea of getting the half brake hoods manufactured & the jdl51 V identity logo's, I did have a thought of taking one of these pedal caps & get a copy manufactured in plastic, from say a bottle top manufacturing company. If they were reproduced in a grey (tarnished aluminium looking) plastic, I would have at least 4 pairs of these pedals requiring caps, how many other pairs are out there needing caps that would cover cost of manufacture. These would not only to protect the inner workings but also look from a distance something similar to the originals, with the jdl51 V identity logos. The business plan, flaws and all, would be 100 pairs mass produced, no idea of cost, but lets say £250. Cost £2.50 per pair, available to market at £5.00 a pair. I am probably way out on the production cost, that's just the max I could invest. Need to investigate further to know whether my plan has legs. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301910079805?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
