Just did 5 miles on the Corsair to see how it felt....It felt great. I didn't have time to swap the saddle, and despite knowing it's quite literally a pain in the ass, I went with it. About half way round, for about 2 minutes I had a thought that I had been overly harsh on the saddle. It was starting to give a little bit and even at one point, bounced like a new brooks leather saddle , hammock style. About a minute later I realised I was kidding myself, it really is good for nothing except making a vintage bike look more vintage and original. I think my paranoia was un-founded and no one would really be looking to steal this, as I haven't even given it a clean yet. Lovin the gold! I sold a Tony Doyal to a london lad a while back. It had the Vitisse on it. I imagine the first thing he did was change it for something that better resembled a real saddle! You'll be feeling that one tomorrow!
