This is winging on its way to me: Bought off eBay UK for GBP21 +GBP14 p&p. See no. 231854013121 Looks dirty but sound. With luck it will clean up OK. Said to be 23", which is about right for me. Sorry if you were the other bidder, hoping to get it for £10.

I wouldn't have had much of a clue what size a frame was from a picture in the past, but someone here pointed out a rule of thumb to use on the headset (between top and down tube) My size is about 3.5 of my average size fingers. So, that looks about right for 23" or at least 22.5".
Correct me if I am wrong but the other bidder must have been willing to go to £20.00 to get your bid to go up to £21?
Looking quite a decent frame. Bonus that the seat post is already out, and the brake hangers are still there.
Will you be respraying or making it a rough and ready pub bike?

£10 was the starting price, so the other bidder was probably hoping to get it for that, as the only bidder, even if s/he was prepared to go to £20!

It has quite a bit of dignity just in that weathered state. Sure, one might want to polish up a blemish here or there, looks like a rust spot on the top tube and the way the paint, blue or red wears off to the white frame is curious. I have one frame I got used and the way it is, I wonder what it went through but it's relatively comfortable as a winter rider and a bit unique.
That frame looks like it's been around LEJO 100 times. I read a story about some guy who did that trek in the 1920s, it was desolate and remote in places, they probably ran into rain and the roads of course, were not as good. I guess the Viscount above had the red and white paint job per the band on the seat tube.
I'll add in, because of the material, this is totally different than some other weathered frames one might see from time to time. I think it has its own charm.

Looks to me as if you have a good frame, at a bargain price. Now the fun begins; I will be watching to see what you do with it.
Cheers Jim
