As Cusqueno mentioned in another thread, I'd not been able to ride any of my Viscounts since end of December 2015, due to an unfortunate fall while ice skating. Can't say I was happy about it. 1. fractured wrists hurt and being in a cast for six weeks results in stiffness and pain again, trying to get it back to normal. 2. having to look at my fleet, longingly, knowing I'm not able/allowed to ride any of them. Well, two weeks after the cast came off and I could finally brave a ride on my beloved GP, I went to Hyde Park and back (about 90 min.) and couldn't stop smiling. Here's the proofMind, my wrist was hurting afterwards.

Still hurting, now? It's been another two weeks since this ride. Best wishes and good hopes to you, Stella.

It's not hurting, but it's a bit uncomfortable at times. You know, I had my wrist broken, and it can take quite some time to get full range of movement back. I'm still doing physio, even though I've been an A+ patient (physio's said so), I'm still not back to normal. My wrist is sore from the exercises. Not like 'ouch, can't use it' sore, but it's just not 'normal'. Riding on the hoods for a long time on London's rattly roads isn't great. Also, I'm in the progress of getting that big tattoo on my thigh, so it's not really great riding with a swollen thigh. I shall, hopefully, be good to go by end of this month, as I'm planning to ease back into boxing, too. I don't want to overdo it, and am exercising my patience (of which I have none), as I'd like for my wrist to heal properly. I was cautioned by the doctor and physio to be careful, so I will listen to them. :-)
