I\ll bring a few sausages and a loaf of bread just in case. in fact, that sounds like a plan too. Local co-op, so we could do a big cook up. Whether is going to be nice!

Hello all - sorry I didn't make it today - the car had other ideas. Looking forward to seeing everyone's pictures.

Yeah, you better come next year again, Goldie. Same goes for Busaste. So, SO sad he wasn't there. I mean he's the father of the rally.

Does anyone else keep remembering Rosslyn when they think of Rosliston? Rosslyn Chapel was the site of the denouement of Dan Brown's spirited conspiracy theory novel 'The Da Vinci Code'. I hope we will not be pursued by homicidal masochistic monks (possibly waving Death Forks?) Roslin is the most-used local spelling, and I have cycled along the old railway line cycle route close by many a time in my youth and never seen any mad monks. It was a favourite day out in the 80s, forty miles if I got as far as West Linton and fifty if I made it to Dolphinton. In my archive there are some photos of the Viscount exploring this route early on, including bits which were proposed ie head height nettles, since brought into cycle route service. The old station is called Roslyn Castle, so there is plenty of scope to spell how you wish.
