Welcome to the forum!
When we started off here last July 2013, there was only one section and a handful of members on the forum, so it seemed quite clear where to go and what to look at. You would be under no danger of getting lost or being swamped with information.
Since the posts and threads have multiplied , it may be harder to get started here, and hence a quick overview and this introduction.
Background. Most of the members, but not all, have probably come here from a forum called CTC (The Cyclists Touring Club) where a thread started many years ago by a member called Bustaste who asked for information on Lambert and Viscount/Trusty bikes.
It is now the biggest thread on there and holds a huge amount of information, wisdom and passion. However, it's hard to search and access that information as it is in a linear thread and therefore has limitations.
This forum was an attempt to document the relevant bits and create a useable space for new and experienced enthusiasts. The forum is international and open to none Viscount/Lambert owners.
So, if you just picked up a bike second hand that you know or suspect is a Lambert or Viscount and arrived here wanting to know more about it, then this forum might help. Browse the photographs and posts but I would encourage you to join and ask questions and post up your own pictures.
If you are a veteran of the marque then likewise, please join and share your knowledge and photos to help others.
For starters we have a list of models and details of those models here. Hopefully in time it will be a 'database' of all of the bicycles with the Lambert Viscount/Trusty name on them.
Then we have photographs of members bikes here, which may be of help to identify your own bike.
Please feel free to message me with suggestions or ideas for improvements for the forum.
And finally, a reminder that we actually ride bikes, meet up and exist in the none virtual world; we have a Rally in the summer and it is open to all absolutely everyone!
Check it out, details here.
To set your mind at rest that we don't all look like Racing PowerRangers in Lycra , then here are some photo's and short video from last years event.
