What's the difference between and Aerospace Pro, and an Aerospace Sport?

Hi Sean, Both have the same frame and sealed bearings bottom bracket. The Pro has the famous porthole crankset and infamous aluminum death fork. It came with a leather saddle, 14-24 RD, Shimano Crane (pre-dura ace) RD, TItlist FD, and Viscount branded needle bearing pedals. The Sport has a chrome steel fork, plastic saddle, 14-32 skip tooth freewheel and a shimano gt RD, and I think KKT pedals
Basically all aerosports are the same bike with different components.
Cheers, Michael

Ah thank you. Mine is a Sport, with Shimano 600 bits. When you look at the stickers on eBay the pro has two head badges, but the Sport just one, but mine had two. I was simply wondering if I should buy the Pro stickers to get two head badges!! Nick.

That sound like the same seller I bought my Sport decals from and I had the same issue. I very nicely asked him to include two head badges for the Sport set and he was more than happy to oblige! I just finished a nice polish and cleanup on it today. When we'll get out who knows??? Stay safe. DSCN1104

Well done on that red Sport! It deserves to be ridden and you to ride it. My projects (the silver and black Aerospace and the chrome Supa-maybe)are moving a bit slower than I expected, between home projects, wheel building from home for the shop I contract with, medical issues, and the weather. Still, wishing better times and better riding for us all, not too far in the future. Best, John "wheelson" Western Pennsylvania USA

Michael, Thanks for posting the Sport brochure, hope you won't mind if I copy it for my own "collection". I notice the Sport was originally spec'd with the KKT "weighted" pedals. I think I have a pair of those down in the "bike dungeon". As soon as my current projects are complete I think I'll post some languishing parts for sale, trade, or gift. I say no new projects because, at 71 and with no more room, I think that's a wise move. I'm glad you got a chance to ride. I want to get out for one today if possible since it's 72degF but the local bike trail has been packed lately. I know of another short trail of almost 3mi.+ some back roads, but it's totally through a wooded area and the wind here in Western Pennsylvania is currently around 30mph so I'll have to go carefully if I do. Neighbor down the street had a rather large tree come down on the corner of their house last night. Best to you and everyone. Stay safe. John "wheelson"

Never realised the Sports freewheel had a 32T sprocket, that’s quite a big range for that era, isn’t it?
I’m still heading out for a short ride every other day, very quiet down the country lanes.
Stay safe everyone.

Michael, Thanks for posting the Sport brochure, hope you won't mind if I copy it for my own "collection". If anyone wants the full pdf version of the Viscount Dealers Manual then drop me a PM...It's a whopping 265 MG, so might have to drop it in a Dropbox or We Transfer type site. It's pretty detailed. Maybe it's around on a web site for download anyway, but just in case you can't find it. Here's a teaser sample Screenshot 2020-03-29 at 18.37.03 by Jeremy Biddulph, on Flickr
