It's been 10 years since I started buying up Viscounts. Time for some group shots. When I "retired" my 1st Viscount in 1989 and moved on to a Vitus 979, I never imagined I'd be yearning to go back and find joy in owning just about the whole Aerospace lineup. This madness started after stumbling into Busaste's thread on the CTC forum. I still find them remarkably comfortable for joy rides and great to train for triathlons on. I subscribe to the train heavy, race light theory. The hardest part is making time to ride them all! DSCN1130 by

Thanks for the kind words boys!
Pete, I'd have a real dilemma figuring out what to bring to a DFR if we ever make one happen on the East Coast. I think I'd rent a U-Haul and re-assemble Mick Ives boys to handle the riding!
Jim, We are not crazy! Everyone else is!
Gem, The doctors told me there's no cure and now with the Medicare cutbacks, there's no coverage for any form of treatment!
Sprockit, Thinking about N + 1? It's on some kind of endless internal loop!
Glad to share!

"Jim, We are not crazy! Everyone else is!"
Yep, I suspected that! The most sane person I have met (by your standard) is Bill Collier who takes part of his collection on tour in a big trailer. I met him at the Tehachapi Gran Fondo and enjoyed visiting with someone fluent in the vintage bicycle dialect. Most folks at the Fondo only speak carbonbikese and find downtube friction shifters a mysterious relic (like a dial telephone).
