Forum 'heads up' for end of the month

Hi all - I just wanted to give people some warning that something might happen at the end of the month (or it may not)...let me explain.

I have just had the annual reminder to pay for the web address (URL) that we use. I am choosing not to renew it this time around (it's not a huge amount, but I am not sure we necessarily need it).

I think (fingers crossed) that when the URL expires, the forum will just revert itself to the original Proboards style url. I only bought the one above so that I could place Google Adsense adverts on the site to pay for the url renewal. However, if you were around at the time and recall, I clicked on my own advert a couple of times like a proper idiot and got booted from that program.

So, maybe you will be redirected to the site with a slightly different address, but I am not totally sure.

I think you might see the changes on April 1st, but believe me , it's not an April Fools prank.

Either way, the forum will be around on the internet somewhere , but your 'favourites' tab may need an update, but I can't say for sure.
