Recently found this steel framed Specialized Road bike I understand its the same frame orientation as the Allez but is cabled under not over and comes with a Shimano 105 (1050 series) group set Bike was not like this when I found it; a lot of looking and googling and put it together with Campag hub / mavic rim wheels Hope Frank likes this Specailized SirrusComments appreciated (Pedals are just ones I had hanging around so I could test ride it)

I might like it, but I can't get the link to work. Have you sold it?
Best regards, Frank

I am a bit of a fan of early Specialized bikes. The Sirrus is a fine frame and yours is even better with the Campy touch.
Nice Bike! Jim

hmmm. It's working fine now. That is nice, and ^Jim is totally correct. Now you'll have to get those Shimano decals off the downtube, and you'll be all set...
Best regards, Frank

I have a similar Campy crankset. I polished it up and the result was amazing.
Cheers Jim

Hi Chaps I stripped out the campy xenon stuff off the bike; researched what should be on it and replaced with 1050 Shimano 105 group The Bike is on ebay at present as I need room for other projects Highish price (£575) as I think these are getting quite rare and are actually great looking The Shimano decals were on the frame when I got it and look reasonably original (yes I thought it would have Sirrus decals) Just ordered some campy levers and brakes from USA as they are getting really expensive here.
Doing a Koga Miyata Gents Racer S with all 600 arabesque (looks amazing) just the bar tape to do when I get the right stuff
Best Regards
