Today I'm at the Arsenal Emirates Stadium on an all staff away day. (Pause for cheers or boos according to your soccer affiliations.) 16km from home and a nice ride, although it took an hour due to stops to check map. Rode my Viscount Aerospace 400, currently with a mixture of first gen black Dura Ace and SunTour Superbe / Cyclone components. I'm in the process of changing it over to all SunTour. Frame is one of the lugged ones.

Gunners: well, I can fire up the Abby Road webcam web page and see what kind of weather one rides in today, it looks like jacket weather and a bit overcast. www.abbeyroad.com/Crossing Enjoy the day.

Looks like a great cycling day! Would you be riding through St Johns Wood?

Looks like a great cycling day! Would you be riding through St Johns Wood? I'm basically heading due south until I hit the River and then heading west for home. So no.

Passed the Freddie Grubb shop on the way to & from the Stadium. Bit puzzled because I thought the brand had been bought by Holdsworth and was now extinct. Also they were always in Croydon or SW London, not north of the River. Bikes were good quality town bikes. Looked nice enough but not what I'm really interested in.

Picking up on your comments, John, please be sure to post photos when you get the change over complete. I still think the later versions of SunTour Superbe Pro (get the sidepull brakes with the aero levers and hidden springs)was the finest road group available at the time.
