With DFR3 coming up, and some of us unable to come because of geographical disadvantage, I thought it timely to bring this up again. I know there have been some designs done in the past (Stella resplendent in her red jersey springs to mind) but I was wondering whether anyone knew of a good cycling kit maker who does custom gilet. Personally I can't abide synthetic jerseys: too cold in winter, too hot in summer and often smelly. But a gilet is very handy as an extra layer in most weathers. Perhaps even a DFR3 souvenir one? Another idea would be to have all the current forum members names somewhere smallish as part of the design. ? b

Still keen to get this going, but wondering if there is a "Zazzle" like site that can host the artwork and output the gilets one by one as people order them, rather than having to order a job lot in advance. b

Bendo - I looked into custom made merino jerseys a while back. Eventually, I found a couple of Merino 'off the shelf' (and second hand) without breaking the bank and didn't take the custom design thing any further. The two places I looked at were this one, that seemed a reasonable price, but I found the web site a bit clunky and hard work out how to create and then order. Maybe that was just me? I don't know if they offer that flexibility of creating one, and others order off the back of that without needing to bulk order up front (as Zazzle) This next one , I can't remember what my thoughts were on them, are in NZ.

ForceGB I believe can do individual orders, although I doubt they have merino.

That's cool. I'm not after merino in this case, just a polyester zip-up vest that could go over whatever else you're wearing and still show the team colours, as it were. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll check out ForceGB. b
