Hi All Went to London to get hold of a track frame I liked (Silver fillet brazed 59cm CtoC Lombardi by Racer rosa of Walthamstow) Got it back on the train and started building (allowed me to build as flip flop with 2 brakes) needed a few paint touch ups and the BB to be re threaded (just run through with large tap) Enjoyed the build but found it to be a very large frame (Italians measure top bar of frame as 59cm not CtoC as I thought) so first build as Lombardi no lugsFrames have been built by Antonio Taverne in Italy so super workmanship and brought to UK by Diego Lombardi - frame numbers are 001 and 002 originally as display models. Liked the first so much decided to buy a fixed gear frame (no drill outs for back brake); smaller frame so will move saddle back a bit from photos Built up some Miche hubs into DT Swiss double butted spokes and DT Swiss 460 rims (trued by bike shop) Miche seat post and put another Brooks saddle on it B17 Champion Narrow; the other one is a Brooks Swift Probably should have gone for a Miche crank as well but fancied the Sturmey Archer Also put on a nice old set of 3ttt stem and bars with a super record front brake I had to give it a bit on nostalgia Now riden both and should be ok but the fixed gear one takes a bit of getting used to (crap pedals on it at moment to allow me to get used to the continuous rotation of the crank) Hope you like it Fixed gear Lombardi with lugsBest regards Richard
