Mick Jones' birthday today, (well, the 26th of June) of the "only band that matters". Not sure if I agree with that assessment but I do enjoy the band quite a bit.

Any excuse to post something up on Mick is an open door for me...this is a great song that only made it on to the second and subsequent pressing of London Calling LP, an almost lost gem.
Here Mick is playing at a local library , I think to save it from closure or cuts to services.

More birthdays today; I also saw there was some band called the Viscounts from many years ago, it was rockabilly or doowop, I didn't have a chance to listen. So, perhaps some of that will be posted sometime soon.
