So the Viscount Aerospace GP is an off roader ? Pre-mountain bikes , 'offroad' meant slightly uneven tarmac or an occasional path?

Actually, they do mention cyclocross, 32mm tyres and good clearance: why not?

Steve mentioned that Viscounts were ridden in cyclo-cross. What I stumbled over was 'outback'. Does it mean they tried to cater for the OZ market? They are basically like Lamberts/Pro with their specs/color scheme, no?

Check out the Rough Stuff Fellowship. The places people have gone with road bikes in the past.Even I have gone up places in North Wales with a Pre War tandem with a junior stoker, and down stream beds, which would scare the s..t out of me on a mtb now.You don't need all the extra weight if you ride sensibly and don't want to go back in a helicopter! I've used my Pro for commutes over very rough ground,it's still in one piece, better than I am these days! Cheers, Pete.

Viscount Aerospace G.P. Brochure I picked up the day I bought my bike in 1975. Wow, that brought back memories from 1976. At one point I had brochures like that for the entire line. Since I only had the Gran Touring model, I tossed the rest. Oh well.

I'd love to have brochures ... You should see Cusqueno's collection. I'm green with envy.
