Think I'd rather go 10th/11th. We had intenddd an Italian honeymoon Scott so we could have met up for a ride anyway!

I'll be in Denmark on 4th/5th June, but 10th/11th would be fine.

So far I'm ok with both dates. I think the 10/11th would be better, though, just because it's one week more towards summer. :-D

It looks as though 10/11 has it. It will be an opportunity for UK members to celebrate, or try to forget, the result of the General Election just announced for 8 June.

I thought the cider might tempt Stoatie back.... What's this mention of cider? Hey folks, it's nice that people are thinking of me. Sorry I've not been around I've had a terrible couple of years with my anxiety compounded with numerous car related problems on top. I'm starting to try and climb back out of this hole that I seem to be stuck in. So will try and make a concerted effort to make it to DFR5. I don't even think I've touched the bikes since DFR3.

Welcome back Stoatie!
I'd be happy with the cider run (closer for us too) especially if it helps get Stoatie along.
KP Crisps go with cider right?

Really sorry to hear about your health problems. I'm afraid I've been there and done that. Fixing/restoring/riding Viscounts helped me a bit. Hope you can make it to DFR5. By the way everyone, when is DFR5 going to happen? It would help if we could set a date/location ASAP.

Hi all - This is not easy, and I realise we cannot please all the people all of the time, but I have had a few chats with Rob and we came down for the weekend of the 10/11th and the venue is Ledbury.
I will give you a link to the camp site later tonight. I have stayed on it and it is very nice. And that part of the world is without doubt the most beautiful out of the last 4 venues..guaranteed or your money back.
For those who can't make it due to other commitments, or distance, then we can book in a DFR5.5 late summer (as last year).
Any questions PM me or Rob and/or post up here...
Thanks for your patience! Sorry for those who it excludes.
EDIT- the camp site has glamping pods, bunk house, and 2 different fields. Showers, toilets etc and electric hook up is available. They also have lodges which are as big as a house.
FURTHER UPDATE - Grass pitch without electric £17, without hook up from £22, a bed in the bunk house £40 and can sleep various numbers.

Hi-de-hi campers! Here is the site - I would recommend booking in the Orchard Field, it's limited spaces in there but enough for all of us if we are quick to snap up places asap. Don't delay!!!! If that isn't available then the Cider Mill Field will have plenty of space and is just a little way down the bank. The bunk rooms are up top near to the Orchard field (as are the glamping pods) www.woodsidelodges.co.uk/touring-camping-2/Raymondo - if you are coming and can get in the Orchard field then we can book space for a gazebo/big awning for communal cooking/food, it's an extra £10 I think but we can split costs. I have just booked Fri and Sat night.

Is it best to mention the Viscount group when booking? will they then put us all together? Cheers, Pete. I've mailed them (literally an hour ago) but as would be expected nothing back yet. If you book the Orchard Field and when booking, there is a 'notes' section. You could mention my name if you wish, but to be honest, that section of the camp site is so small that it only takes 10 pitches , and you can pick your own spot when you arrive - so my guess is if you get in there, we will probably be able to hear you snore anyway...so, should be close enough.

Must point out that EVERYONE is welcome to this! if you are a lurker here and are unsure whether to attend, let me say that you will be made to feel like one of the Viscount family. Young or old, families, bring your kids - even if you are not up for a big ride then just do a bit. Generally they are never more than 25miles and often about 20 miles.

Thanks for the prompt reply Jem. I don't snore!!!! Cheers, Pete. Well, I recall some snoring at DFR3... Just heard back from the camp site. She said "If anyone else is wishing to book then they can book online and add your name in the notes section of the booking form." I suppose it isn't totally necessary , but just just try and get on the Orchard Field if possible if camping. Note, bunk rooms and camping pods also available.
