Great find Ben!
I noticed in the article that reference was made to pedal platform wobble which was subsequently corrected by tooling changes.
Oh no it wasn't!! The wobble on the cast in one quill style pedals was only eliminated when Trusty eventually provided five thou and ten thou shims to take up the wobble inducing end play on the spindle.
